Penteractive has been the pioneer for many of the products used to implement the wiimote interactive whiteboard. We have sold thousands of our simple little pen but time has come to provide an alternative that is powered by a more readily available AAA battery. The beauty of our new “2.0″ is that the IR LED, which is so prominently exposed in most all the currently available pens, isn’t visible at all. “How does it work?” you might ask. Well the answer is a polycarbonate LED diffuser and it works marvelously.
The new design will carry over to a new 24″ pointer as well. The cost of the new IR Pen 2.0 will be $20 and the new IR Pointer 2.0 will be $30.

Pentabulous! is the new free wiimote interactive software developed for distribution to individuals for private use and to educational institutions. It will connect your wiimote to your computer, calibrate your screen for ease of use and disconnect your wiimote when the application is closed out. Our goal was to simplify the process and promote greater implementation at lower cost for schools and teachers.
It seemed to take forever but our new Penteractive Pointers are now available. We shipped the first ones just today and expect to hear good things. We were able to fit a flush button for a very professional look as well as ease of activation. Get yours today.
Penteractive.us has thrived due to the incredible patronage of its customers. We feel strongly that the software useful for the implementation of the Wiimote Interactive Whiteboard should remain free. For Mac users, Uwe Schmidt has kept his great application available to all at no charge. The same can not be said for Windows users. Penteractive.us has resisted efforts to fall in line and distribute the newest version of the predominantly used Smoothboard that does not allow unrestricted usage of its features. So penteractive.us will be developing a separate new application for free distribution that includes essential features for the implementation of the WIWB sans the redundancy plus hopefully other useful features that will lead to greater satisfaction with your WIWB setup. And again, it will be completely free!
In keeping with our reputation of innovation, Penteractive.us is pleased to announce our newest products – the Penteractive IR Pointers. These pointers come in two sizes: Standard – measuring 24 inches in length, and the Mini – measuring 12 inches. The bodies will come in a minimum of three colors. Activation can be by forefinger or thumb utilizing the switch on the lower end of the body. A really nice feature is the incredible ease associated with replacing the single AAA battery. Simply pull off the end cap and the battery holder will come right out. A wrist lanyard is another nice feature for hanging and security.
Cost for the Standard Pointer will be $40 and the Mini will be $25. Availability will hopefully be by the end of September.
